Trajan Decius, 249-251. Antoninianus (Bronze, 22 mm, 3.81 g, 6 h), commemorative issue for Divus Severus Alexander (died 235). A contemporary cast imitation from an irregular mint, after 251. DIVO ALEXANDRO Radiate head of Divus Severus Alexander to right, with slight drapery on his left shoulder. Rev. CONSECRATIO Eagle standing right, wings spread and head turned to left. Cf. Cohen 599 and RIC 97 (for prototype). Minor deposits and light scratches, otherwise, very fine.
